A Continent of Wines
Australia is a vast continent, with wine regions located throughout the country. Each region has unique microclimates and soil types, creating a diverse array of wine styles.
All the wineries we represent are family-owned and operated. Unlike the large corporate wine companies that make wines to a formula, family wineries take their own grapes and create wines unique to the location and wine style.
Explore below to learn more about Australia’s diverse wine growing regions and the products we feature from each one.
-
Barossa Valley
With its warm grape-growing areas on the valley floor and cooler mesoclimates in the surrounding hills, the Barossa Valley is home to Australia’s iconic Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache.
-
Kangaroo Island
Located off the coast of South Australia in one of the country’s most remote wine regions, Kangaroo Island’s significantly cooler summers produce distinctive Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
-
South Australia
Beyond the iconic wineries for which South Australia is known, the region produces a wealth of bold flavored wines used to create single varietals and blends of exceptional value.
-
Margaret River
Located in the south-west corner of Western Australia, Margaret River’s maritime climate produces renowned Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon as well as elegant Cabernet Sauvignon.
-
Adelaide Hills
Due to its high altitude and relatively cooler climate, the Adelaide Hills specializes in Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, with mesoclimates in the valleys producing other varietals.
-
Heathcote
Located in Victoria, north of Melbourne, Heathcote is one of the largest Shiraz-producing regions in the state, also producing exceptional Chardonnay, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
-
Hunter Valley
